And if I recover will you be my comfort

Top - Primark//Jeans - BDG at Urban Outfitters//Jacket - Topshop//Shoes - New Look//
Lipstick - Topshop (Rio Rio)

I still can't get over this absolute bargain of a top from Primark! Sequins and fringing - everything I could want in a going out outfit - for £5!
Right now I'm counting down to Thursday when I'm off home for the summer to be reunited with my family, friends, piano and wardrobe. And of course, in a week's time I'll be stuffing the last little bits and pieces into my rucksack in preparation for Glastonbury! Excited is an understatement...

Books from boxes

To amuse myself I took a few photos of pretty things while I was packing my room up. I love coming across old photos and bits and pieces I forgot were there. I don't think I quite realised how much stuff I had in my room until we tried to pack it into the car...But it's all gone home now (I'm living out of a suitcase) and I'll soon be out of here (little jump for joy) and moving into the new place!

P.S. The drawing on the wall was done for me by my super-arty and absolutely lovely LA-dwelling friend Mel - you can check out her website here.

And don't forget to enter my competition to win some lovely jewellery here!

Yesterday away from you

 Playsuit - Primark//Top (worn underneath) - Topshop//Shoes - Office//Bag - Mozzypop//
Necklaces - both gifts//Lipstick - Topshop (Rio Rio)

Another pinched piece from my sister's wardrobe...I'm absolutely in love with the print - perfect for these inbetweeny days with inbetweeny weather. Just counting down the days until moving out (most of my stuff has gone already and living out of a suitcase is only ok when you're travelling) and revelling in the relief that comes with passing third year. Bring on a year of psychology and a brand new house!

London calling to the faraway towns

1.Earrings I made from Jubilee cake-toppers//2.Customised Primark headband//3.Sitting on my shoulder - Jubilee cake toppers//4.My costume//5.The ladies - a lemon, LaLa, London and a letter//6.The lego men

I wanted to share with you our costumes from my 'Beginning with L' pub crawl from last week. I, maybe a little too ambitiously, went as London, and other outfits included ladybirds, letters, lemons, Liverpudlians, lifeguards and - my absolute favourite - lego men (a LOT of papier-mâché involved...). The sun was out, the costumes were ridiculous - an excellent evening!

All ends with beginnings

Top - Primark//Bandeau top (worn underneath) - Primark//Leggings - Primark//
Shoes - New Look//Bag - Primark//Earrings - Urban Outfitters

Some of the less outrageous photos of the night...

I've been meaning to share this outfit with you for a while; I picked up the top as a complete bargain - £5 in Primark! It was as a reward after the clinical exams for a post-exam night out which, unexpectedly ended up with six of us pulling some pretty disastrous shapes on the dance floor in Cockpit and all getting rather sweaty and disgusting. At no point did anyone get put in a bin. An excellent night all round!

A window to my mind

 Shirt - Urban Outfitters//Jeans - Urban Outfitters//Shoes - Office//
Bag - Vintage//Lipstick - Topshop (Rio Rio)

Me with straight hair - a rare sight, but my curlers have finally given up the ghost and so it's back to the au naturel look for me. Not my favourite, but oh well...
This shirt was another (slightly early) birthday present which I managed to nab with twenty percent off at a student event. It's one of those pieces that makes you feel as good as soon as you put it on (hence wearing it for my clinical exams) and goes with everything - smart or casual! Pairing it with red accessories is the perfect combination - I picked up the bag at a vintage by the kilo sale in Leeds (of which there are MANY!)
I hope everyone's enjoying the sun (if you're having it...)
